Hi! I'm Katya, a UX Researcher.

Through my work, I seek to understand and design inclusive and accessible products and services. To this end, I have extensive training in applying qualitative methods to generative and evaluative research. 

My background in computer engineering has proven incredibly helpful when collaborating with developers and other stakeholders. I have also used these skills to create prototypes and explore new concepts with users.

I completed my Ph.D. in Technology and Social Behavior at Northwestern University. My academic research studied the experiences and technology use practices of disabled content creators. I used this knowledge to identify barriers to accessibility and inform the design of new tools that better support creators' needs and goals.
